This product ordering example shows how we can take a database (in this case
running on SQL Server), and access it from the web. Notice that when you choose
a drop down value, the page does not reload. Instead, the webpage makes a
connection to the database in the background, pulls the required data, and
displays it on screen without a refresh. This makes the experience more seamless
for the user, and can make complex drill-downs into a database easy.
